River Region Early Education – Conargo Mobile Service

Visiting educators provide care for children aged 0–2 and preschool for ages 3–6 at Conargo Public School. The service visits on Thursdays from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm. Families can request an enrolment application through River Region Early Education on 03 5881 2394.

Conargo Public School

Edward River Library

In nearby Deniliquin, families can join Baby Bounce for carers and babies, Children’s Storytime, creative Splat sessions and school-holiday activities. Some sessions require bookings. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult when taking part in virtual reality activities.

Deniliquin Community Health Centre

The Murrumbidgee Local Health District facility offers child and family health, speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, child wellbeing and domestic violence services. No referral is required, but families should call 03 5882 2900 or email the centre to book. Telehealth and wheelchair access are available.

Intereach Aboriginal Children, Families and Communities

Aboriginal Child, Family and Community Workers provide free support for Aboriginal children, parents, carers and community members in Deniliquin and surrounding areas. Support may cover school connection, family wellbeing, separation, domestic violence, culture, playgroups and community groups. Call 1300 488 226; people outside listed service areas can also ask to be connected with a family support service.

Carer Gateway
